The younger sister of Eri, Lenore was the "favourite" of her family, and as a result, thrived on the attention. Coming from a family of a long line of mages, she was something of a relief to her family when Eri took up archery in its place. Even with all of the extra attention, Lenore and Eri grew up close, more friends than sisters. If Eri ever showed bitterness, Lenore never noticed. When she was sixteen, her father unexplainably murdered their mother, and then killed himself. What she never knew was that her mother had been a Messenger, and thinking it safe, shared this with her father. He, being a Pillar, eventually killed her, and committed suicide. Lenore was distraught, and hardly noticed the transition of leaving the only home she'd ever known to move in with her mother's parents in the city of Floran. She misses the quiet farm life they used to lead, but has become enthralled with Floran and working in their grandparents shop, where she is able to meet new people everyday. |
A social butterfly, Lenore can't stand to be alone for very long, always enjoying the company of others, be it her sister, her grandparents, the customers in the shop, or a random passerby. Of course,this means she's usually more interested in conversing than actually taking care of the shop. All of the compliments from her parents about being a mage have gone to her head, though, and has left her slightly arrogant and given her an unrealistic view of her own abilities. Of course, without them now, she has no one to praise her as they did, and finds her attentions elsewhere, as well as giving her motivation to improve herself. She tells herself quite often not to think about what happened to her parents, or really, about her parents in general. She loved them to death, but remaining in ignorance is preferable to knowing the truth behind her father's motives. Ignorance is bliss, after all. This, of course, has left her on the oblivious side of most things, but she catches on eventually. |
Lenore is small for her age, with large brown eyes and a silly smile on her face. Her hair is a much lighter shade than her sister's, and she's never seen reason to cut it, and depending on her mood will tie it or leave it down. She also adores hats. |
